Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Next Jamaat account and its associated personal cloud data. Deletion cannot be undone.
Delete from the app
- Open Next Jamaat and make sure you are signed in.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the security check.
Request deletion on the web
If you cannot access the app, email us from the Google email address used for your Next Jamaat account. Include the words “Delete my Next Jamaat account”. We may reply to verify that you own the account.
Request account deletionNever send us your Google password, one-time code, or device PIN. Verified web requests are normally completed within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your authentication account and user profile
- Followed masajid, notification and Auto-Vibrate preferences
- Synced Quran bookmarks and annotations, dua favourites, and other private account content
- Notification tokens and user-owned pending uploads where technically linked to your account
What may be retained
Public community contributions, such as a jamaat-time correction already used by other worshippers, may be retained in de-identified form so the public schedule and its integrity remain intact. Limited security, abuse-prevention, moderation, transaction, or legal records may also be kept where reasonably necessary and then deleted according to our retention practices.
Guest use and local data
If you never signed in, there may be no cloud account to delete. Clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to remove local data from your device. Uninstalling alone does not delete a signed-in cloud account.
